Sarah S. wasn’t expecting it, but she found her career path six years ago at a CSL Plasma Center in Bloomington, Minnesota.
She was working at a restaurant then and occasionally donating at CSL Plasma to make a little extra money. During her visits to donate, she noticed a positive culture among employees and decided to apply for a position.
“The staff at the Bloomington CSL Plasma were always helpful, knew me by name, and were highly knowledgeable,” Sarah shares. “Even when it was busy, staff was positive and committed to excellence.”
She began as a Donor Support Technician in January 2016. Six months after joining the company, a role in quality was available. Sweat worried she didn’t have enough experience, but she earned the promotion.
Support from peers and managers helped her grow and step up to the responsibilities of working in a regulated environment. Sarah’s career path has also included roles as a Management Trainee, Operations, in Bloomington; Assistant Center Manager, and in training role, both in Las Vegas. She also appreciates the mentoring program CSL Plasma has offered.
Today, Sarah is a Center Manager and leads the team at the newly opened CSL Plasma center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
“I just want to thank all of the teams I’ve been a part of and people that believed in me along the way. The people I’ve met at CSL Plasma have shown me that I can do anything I set my mind and heart to,” Sarah shares.
