Maurice C. is currently an Associate Director of Operations and Quality, supporting new CSL Plasma centers. He helps develop center teams and supports openings, which includes establishing best practices in operations and quality and helping new centers prepare for initial inspections.
Maurice joined CSL Plasma in March 2014 as a Processing Technician in Jonesboro, Georgia, when the center first opened. He earned a promotion to a senior role and underwent cross-training for the donor floor and in reception. Late that year, he was promoted to Center Supervisor at the Decatur, Georgia, center.
He entered the Management Training program in October 2015, in Decatur. In July 2016, he took on the Assistant Center Manager role there. He returned to Jonesboro in September 2017 as Center Manager. Before his current role, Maurice spent time as a Field Support Manager supporting centers across the U.S. and gaining greater quality experience.
Maurice is inspired each day by the commitment of plasma donors. He sees how important his role is in helping provide donors – in turn – a donation process that is as efficient and comfortable as possible.
“If it were not for our donors, I wouldn't have a career. CSL Plasma had 99 centers when I started with the company in 2014, and now we're at more than 300. I wouldn't have been able to advance like I have and provide for my family without the commitment of our donors across the U.S.”
He appreciates his career with CSL Plasma that has allowed him to work with amazing colleagues that have taken time to teach and develop employees. As a result, he strives to also help other employees develop into their potential.
Shares Maurice: “My favorite CSL Value is Collaboration. I've seen the company triple in center size over the course of my career. We would not be able to grow and expand like we have without collaboration. I believe that as a company we can resolve anything that comes our way through working together effectively with others.”
