Ashlee B., 25, is from Mesa, Arizona. She is a pharmacy student, graduating in 2022. She loves reading and her favorite book is Harry Potter, so she hopes to visit Harry Potter World after graduation.
When she was 4, Ashlee was diagnosed with a primary immunodeficiency.
“Receiving plasma-derived medications has allowed me to follow my dream of becoming a pharmacist without the fear of life-threatening infections,” shares Ashlee. “Plasma donors are truly heroes! They help not only help keep me alive, but many others by donating plasma.”
After finishing pharmacy school, Ashlee wants to work at a specialty infusion pharmacy to be able to help other people affected by serious and rare diseases who receive plasma-derived medications.
Ashlee also appreciates the dedication and support of CSL Plasma employees, especially as Ashlee has visited various plasma centers in the Tucson area in the past. She also helps spread awareness to others about the power of plasma donation.
“When hearing from my friends that have just donated, it warms my heart and makes me so happy. When you’re donating plasma, you are saving lives.”
