Aimee G. is from Las Vegas. She enjoys networking and events, arts and crafts, and exploring new recipes and eating with friends. She loves food, travel and animals.
She is motivated by her friends and inspiring one another to do the best in life, yet having a primary immunodeficiency has had an impact on her life.
Primary immunodeficiencies are a group of more than 450 rare, chronic conditions in which part of the body’s immune system is missing or does not function correctly. These conditions can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity.
“Before receiving a therapy made from plasma, I had a fear of leaving the house because that could mean possibly getting sick and even ending up in the hospital, shares Aimee. “Now, I don’t have that fear and can enjoy my friends and going out, thanks to people who donate plasma."
Her message to plasma donors is one of gratitude. Plasma donors have changed her life and motivate her to live each day to the fullest.
“Thank you for showing up each day to help people like me,” says Aimee. “The amount of time and energy you spend donating makes a long life-changing experience for patients who need regular treatments made from plasma.”
